We've been BUSY. I really don't know where April went; it's all a blurr... At least I got some pictures on my phone, so I'll share those with you :)
Here is Annalee, accepting her Cookie Club prize! She was chosen at our local Publix to be the monthly winner of a 10" decorated cookie. Way to go, Annalee!
Andy and I took the kids to the beach one Sunday afternoon this month... the water was still a bit cold, but I think everyone had a good time soaking in the sunshine and feeling the cool ocean breeze... Ahhhhh!
Annalee found lots of neat shells...
... and even a couple sea urchins!
A friend invited us to her neighborhood pool, and it was a beautiful day! The water was perfect for swimming and trying out the water slides. Since the public school kids are still in school, we had the place almost all to ourselves :)
For a belated birthday celebration, Gabe wanted to go to Mike Greenwell's and ride the go-carts. He was big enough to drive himself, but the double cars are faster! Here's a short video of Andy and Gabe- they won the race!!
Here's a shot taken from the car window on the way up to Indiana. The kids really liked driving through eastern Tennessee :)
The springtime really is beautiful in southern Indiana. Here are some grape hyacinths- they smell so sweet!
The kids got to spend an afternoon with their great-grandmother Labhart. We had a great time catching up with her!
My Aunt Lana has a gorgeous place in the country. The kids climbed hills and played in the creek, and they didn't want to leave!!
Noah's such a goof! :)
My mom knew just where to find the salamanders...
While the kids were having a ball with my parents, I flew out to Colorado to meet Andy for our anniversary weekend. As you can see, spring hasn't quite come there yet ;) But, the mountains were beautiful!!
It snowed another few inches the day I left- nice, white, sticky snow that clung to the trees!
And look what we came home to! Our hen, Salt, hatched a chick :) We're not quite sure what to name it yet, and all the kids claim her!
