Homeschool News:

I am down to 2 homeschoolers this year! Annalee will be a HS Senior and Gabe will be a HS Sophomore... wow, time flies!

Annalee is working towards becoming a professional photographer. You should check out her Instagram account: shots.by.anne :) She is very talented!

Gabe just finished his Drivers' Ed course through FLVS and is the last of the kiddos to get his permit. Now, onto driving on the road- God, help me!

Our Week

Gabe wasn't feeling well on Monday, so we missed our Homeschooler Park Day on Tuesday. To make up for it, we visited a really nice neighborhood park by ourselves and packed a picnic!

Here's an osprey's nest that was sitting on a pole high over the park's play area. There were two birds flying to and from it- maybe we'll see some chicks soon...?

This is the boys favorite thing to do at this park! I took a turn on it and really got it going- LOTS of fun! but, I got a blister from holding on so tight :)

Here's the little ones climbing the web tower...

Gotta stop for lunch!

On Wednesday, Thursday and again today, the kids got in the pool! Every morning, Elena takes the temperature of the water, and it was 67 degrees today... bbbrrrrr.

Here's Annalee and her Cooking Class buddies making king cakes! Yum. We made cinnamon and brown sugar cakes this time, and the girls learned a little bit about Mardi Gras.

The big girls are adding even more sugar to the top!

Here's the Queen of our party! Kristal found the bean and got the crown and some special beads for her prize.
Another very enjoyable week, full of sunshine and friendly faces! Have a great weekend, everyone :)
