I just found these pictures on my camera and thought I'd share the with you all :) Things have been kind of hectic around here... Homeschool Evaluations are coming up at the end of the month, and I am putting the kids portfolios together. Also, we have had a lot of spring cleaning to do in the house and yard before the heat of summer sets in permanently. We had a good downpour this afternoon, and I am convinced wet season is just around the corner! What a relief, since we just cleaned the chicken coop and spread fertilizer under our fruit trees... I have noticed small fruits on all our trees, and they need the rain.
Amidst all the hard work, we do still manage to have some fun activities! Here's Gabe and Annalee having fun in the live oak in our side yard:
Here's a rare shot of both Elena and Noah... and smiling, too! :)
In April, we had a double birthday celebration for Elena (13) and Gabe (9)... yes, I have two teenagers in the house now! Eek! It hasn't been too bad so far :)
We had a houseful of friends to help celebrate and eat cake!! Elena, my budding chef, made two cakes: one was a gluten-free chocolate layer cake and the other was an eclair cake with homemade ganache icing. YUM!
Here's Gabe, posing with his new airsoft gun- he bought it with his birthday money.
Elena spent all of her dough on pokemon cards for her collection!
Here's a pic of the newest member of our family, Reine! She is a Rottweiler pup, and just loves Roy (our Doberman) to death. Isn't she sweet?!
