So, it's January again... We decided to celebrate the new year by spending the day "down the hill" :) After eating lunch in Boulder at a really neat micro-brewery, we drove up Flagstaff Road to Realization Point... Here are some pictures I took at the peak! The weather was beautiful, by the way... light jacket weather!
Watch the drop-off! We could see the whole city of Denver from this high!
It's amazing how the mountains just stop... the plains go on forever.
Downtown Denver is out there somewhere :)
Noah is definitely a cold-weather child.
Gabe tried to scare me by getting close to the edge... there was a ledge not too far below, so there was no danger...
Another beautiful view...
Annalee loves the mountains!
Elena is still getting used to the cold...
Earlier in the week, Noah put together a PC! He has been collecting parts for about a year now, and it is finally complete (thanks to grandparents for Christmas money!!).
He did a great job, and other than one set-back he had it running that night! He's so excited to have made it himself.
We caught these two beautiful deer in our yard last week... The deer and squirrels here are HUGE!
Have a great week! Love to all :)
